How much did you spend on bridesmaids' gifts?

How much did you spend on bridesmaids' gifts?

I have 4 attendants who spent 300 on their dresses & about 100 on shoes, and I want to show my thanks with some nice gifts. I was wondering (on average) how much I should spend on each of them. I was thinking about $150. Too much? Too little? I am going to be getting them coach wristlet bags with a gift certificate to places that are special to each of them.

I am trying to keep it at or around $60...But I have 12 girls to buy gifts for.

I think that is a very nice gift... I dont think you should go out thinking im going to spend this b/c they had to spend xx amount on the dress and shoes. you spend what you feel comfortable spending. Im spending about $85 on each bm and $125-$150 on my two MOHS

Also...In keeping within your guidelines...My girls spent $138.00 on their gowns...

this is really vague, but I'd say bewteen $50 & $200 is a good range.
Obviousuly is you have a large group and/or a tight budget $50-475 is probably a good range.
I just have 2, and I am not paying for a lot of the wedding, so I want to splurge a little.
Especially since my MOH paid for everyting for me when I was hers. I am definitely buying them shawls for the wedding, and maybe hair & makeup (or splitting w/ mom) & then I'd like to get them a little something.

I think I spent around $60 a girls. I got them all satin pajamas(we're spending the night before the wedding together), necklace and earing sets for the wedding, aromatherapy kits, picture frame, photo album and some other little things in a big basket. I bought their gifts right after Christmas so I got really great deals on everything, it probably should have cost me almost double what I spent. My MOH, my sister, is getting everything the BMs are getting and then I'm paying for her to have a haircut/style before the wedding.
