How much did you spend on favors??

How much is typical to spend on wedding favors? We're having approximately 180 guest at our wedding and it looks like our favors will cost around $1,000. This seems like a lot to me, so I'm rethinking our favors...what's typical?

I'm spending about that much. I'm giving chocolate favors for $4.50 each plus a candle that cost me $1.75 per couple

We are doing a bottle of wine (187ml) and a bottle stopper. I am going to wrap it myself and do tags also.....so we are spending 2.75 per person therefore it comes out to $275 total because we are having about 200 people and we figure that every couple is going to get the favor! Hope this helps

honestly im looking to spend under $3 per favor.....i refuse to spend more than that......for my engagment party I ended up w/ so many extra favors that people didnt take home

For this reason, I believe that I am going to do the photo booths with double prints for my book and one for guests to take home with them in a personalized acrylic case. FH despises favors, his view is that people eat the favors before they go home (that's what he does, LOL) or they go home with an item and they don't really care about it . So we are going to do the photo booth with upgrades, kill two birds with one stone.

We spent about $3 per person. we only have about 100 guests, so we spent about $300

we are doing cupcakes with a monogram cookie... they are a little more but atleast ppl wont leave them.... to be honest if i dont want the favor i leave it too.... they are abt $5 each individualy boxed with our monogram from the invitation on it

Ours were $450 for favors for about 100 people -- but there was a minimum order of 200, so really they were not as expensive as it seemed. I used the same bags that were our favors for the OOT bags. I love them!

We were looking into favors that would be just under $4.00 per couple. We are inviting about 130 people, so we are looking at just around $500. I don't think I'd spend anymore than that!

We're spending about $10 per person - we're doing donations and an edible favor.

My actual favors were $4 each, but then about another $1.50-$2 for favor tags, photo sharing cards, and organza bags to wrap them in. I'd say I spent a total of around $6 per favor, and they're per couple.

A little over a dollar per person. Unless you count the photobooth and candy buffet, then it's a lot more.

on the actual favors themselves we spent $240 - so about $1.60 per person. I also have to factor in the cost of wrapping them so let's just say about $2-$2.25 per person.

I am trying not to spend more than 4 per person

I'm planning on spending $3.00 per person, but then I'm going to have to buy labels and ribbon, so it will end up being a bit more.
