Re: how much did you spend on invitations?
I paid $1000 for 125! I originally was only going to spend $300-$400, but I got out of hand and had no idea invitations could get out of hand. But $2000 is A LOT!!! I have usually heard between $1000-$1400 as being expensive.

Re: how much did you spend on invitations?
It depends on the invite, paper quality, ink, and things like that. I spent just under $2,000 for 125 invites with envelopes, RSVP cards, and direction cards. They are from C'est Papier, and they are beautiful! (IMO, of course) Seriously, it is alot for invites, you could certainly do better. I planned to spend half that amount, but I got carried away!

IMO that's alot for invites...but it does depend on the manufactuer and the paper and ink, etc...but I wouldn't spend that crazy amount on something that will only end up in the trash...plus the money could be put to something more useful...

Re: how much did you spend on invitations?
We haven't ordered yet but they will be a little over $500 for 100 invites. They are beautiful and very heavy - not just paper, but some type of board - and they have those pretty chiffon bows! This is still more than I thought we'd spend (and postage will be a killer because they're so heavy) but we decided to go with what we really want.

Re: how much did you spend on invitations?
That's insane!!!! I don't think I paid more than $300 for everything!!!! That's 175 invites, responses, printed envelopes, lined inner envelopes... everything for under $300. We wednt the really inexpensive way. Even $1000 isn't terrible. But $2000? That's just plain nuts!!! I wouldn't pay that kind of money! JMO!!

That is insane!!!!!!! All they are going to do is end up in the garbage. I would never spend more than $250, $300 at THE MOST.

Re: how much did you spend on invitations?
we spent less than 150 I think for 100 invitations. we just wanted something classic- no bows or anything fancy.
I spent $1000 on all my paper (125 - STDs...invites...place cards...TYs)

I spent about $450-$500.
Do you have a photo of your invites? Maybe we can help find a place that has them for alot less!

Re: how much did you spend on invitations?
I probably paid in the $700 range for invites & stationery, 125 sets.
I would imagine envelopements are much more expensive but I never priced them out.
Have you looked around? $2,000 is a lot of money, but if they are high quality and you LOVE them - they are the first impression people have of your wedding.
