How much did you spend on invites? RP from 08...

Care to share?

I want to spend about $400 - for invites, envelopes with return address printed on them, response sets, and reception cards.

I need 100. So $4 per invite set - does that sound like an OK price?

You can totally do that!

I spent $216 total on 100 invites...but invites is where we went seriously budget. FH insisted!

this one was the budget buster.... but we don't regret it one bit!

$650 for 50..... (2 color letterpress invitation, reception/directions card, rsvp, pre-printed envelopes)

i made 200 DIY pocketfolds. the cost came to around $3 an invite.

Mine were a little expensive...$370 for 75 invites, RSVP cards, reception cards and 25 extra envelopes...

JMO - $400 is a lot for invites, I know we're all poor! I spent $250 for 100 invitations including all the stuff that comes with them.

Party City has a huuuge selection.

the Elite invitations that I loved were around $1000.....so I kept looking and found something I loved from My Gatsby (their mix & match set). It came out to about $4.40 per invite, but that was through a 20% off sale they were having- for 125 invites it was $550.
