I defintiely think it's a LOT!!!!!!!!
But if you have the $$ go for it! Try to see if there's anything you cna get just as nice for less $$ or DIY?

Hi! I think that is a bit much. Everyone looks at them quick and most leave them anyway.

Depends on the amount of guests-- but that sounds high. I am goign to make mine- and it will still cost me like 1 per program-- but it is still cheaper than having them made..

it seems high - I am having mine made for 60 cents each - but the front cover is very basic - no pictures.

Yes, I think that's a lot. I guess because I made my own I didn't even pay 1/4 of that. If it was something you said you were going to splurge on then go for it. Otherwise I would save for something else. People end up throwing them out anyway.

I think it depends how fabulous.
How many pages is it? Is there vellum? Is there a tassel/ribbon? Is there a special technique or something that needs to be done manually on it? (I was considering using eyelets on mine which is annoying and labor intensive).

I think nothing is crazy if you have the money/time to make it happen. This is a personal decision. We are spending a lot on the paper components of the wedding -- Invites, Programs...because this is something we really place as important. Others might put more of an emphasis on flowers -- so too much is relative, you know? Ours are being engraved with the crest from the invitation and hand calligraphed; that is the expense. I adore them and they will be inside our album.

Trust me it will be the biggest waste of money if you do that. I wanted the same priced programs but got cheaper ones that were still beautiful.
I ordered 150, one for each guest and let me tell you I had at least 50 left. Most people don't care about the program so do something simple.
I did an ecru 2 page program with brown writing tied together with a wide brown ribbon and they were fabulous.
Spend the money for chair covers or some other extra wedding touch.

IMO...that is a lot. I used Sonic Stef. She did a FABULOUS design, sent it to me and i printed it up. They came out awesome..She is really great!

we spent $1.50 on each program- i think $4 is alot for programs, but if you love them and can do it... i say go for it!

I know how you feel, you've seen the best and now everything else just doesn't compare! If you have the $ and that's important to you then do it if it makes you happy. We only get to do this once!!!

I agree with Kimberly. Most people do not keep them and will leave it somewhere - just to be thrown in the garbage. You best bet is just DIY and you'll be happy that you design itself and saved$$$$$.
