How much did you spend/plan to spend on wedding bands?? (WITH POLL)

Went shopping for wedding bands last night at Bailey, Banks & Biddle, since that's where FH got my e-ring.

I was floored at how much the bands we liked cost. We figured around $1,000 TOTAL and the what we saw were more in the $1,000-$3,000 range EACH.

It might just be the store, so I was wondering what you girls averaged on your bands (for both you and FH).

Mine was about 1k but it has diamonds. We havent bought fh's yet but the ones he has looked at are around 350+. I am also going to purchase a plain band that matches his.

I am getting a diamond band and my fiance is getting a couple of diamonds on his band so I really have no idea.

any jewelry chain store is going to be more money. you should go to a private jeweler instead. everyone here has a bunch of reputable suggestions!

The one FH liked for himself was about $400 and mine was about $800.

These arent the exact ones, but similar.

RUN LIKE THE WIND AWAY FROM B, B & B!!! We bought my wedding band there and paid $3K and it appraised for HALF!! THEY ARE SOOOOOO OVERPRICED!!

FH's band is a matte white gold $575 by Verragio...mine is 30 small diamonds in a white gold pave setting $900. I didn't plan on spending that much, but it was so beautiful I couldn't resist!!!!

Its not a secret where I got a quote for that ring. I was at Tri County with my mom and she was looking at anklets so of course I was looking at the bands and that one was about $800 but not as thick as the one in the picture. It matched my e-ring perfectly! And the name of the booth was something with an 'A' I think...

ETA- Yes they are white gold.

Our plain gold bands were 230.00 and our fancy ones were 1400.00 total. I wanted a plain one for the ceremony.

I will have to look.....DH is buying me my 'dress band' when we renew our vows for our 1yr anniversary.

BTW...DH band is a simple 18K 5mm with an etched design for $300 and mine is a 5-diamond channel set platinum band totalling .48 carats for $1050 (all taxes included)

I saw one in that store for me that was $2500! I got the same one made for $1500 at the diamond district. It has about 1 ct. of diamonds and a platinum band. My FH's is white gold and was $290.

He got 2 rings- one white gold comfort band for work, and a dress band hat is gold and white gold with diamonds. I got a channel set ring, and we spent exactly $1000

I went to Tri County Flea Market and got a 1 carat channel set band - in 14K white gold and my FH got a plain 14K white gold band for under 800.00

I got a plain white gold band for $70 and I'm getting a 5-stone white gold setting that matches my e-ring for $350. I'm not paying for the stones - they're coming out of my grandmother's diamond wedding band, so the $350 is for the setting and the labor.

This is the ring that I got for FH. I paid $200.

Total for 3 rings: $620.

I got a small pave diamond wedding band for about $300 i think to match my engagement ring.
then i got another plain white gold band for $40
Tom got a stainless steel band for $80

Total was a little over $400!!!

I got my ring at Bailey Banks and Biddle. I walked in there knowing the one thing I said I was going to splurge on with this wedding was my bands because I'll have them forever! It wasn't too expensive!
