Picking the BM dress is becoming torture, how much did yours cost (not counting alterations)?

5 different Levkoff dresses. Some were $165, $175, $185. One had to be ordered in a plus size so it was more. Alterations capped at $55 at Bridal Refelctions in Carle Place. None of my BP thought they were expensive. Two of them had my brother pay for it (his kids), the others are older, I guess they accounted for this when they said 'yes' to being a bridesmaid. They had the money for it.

I am soooooooooo feeling you on that. I felt like it was torture too. It got to the point where my stomach would sink if I even looked at bridesmaids dresses. Luckily, that was the day I found mine and they are $199. Lot more than I wanted but I couldn't find anything else!

Mine is $189 including alterations. It's one set price no matter what they get for alterations.

Although the FG dress shocked me the most!! $120!!!!

havent picked them yes but one bridal salon i am looking at alterations are free, and the dresses i saw that i like are about 200-220 plus you get 10 off, the bridal gowns i think you get a free veil and headpiece, im not sure, i still gotta look i think dress shopping starts in november god help me

$420, but they got them during a promotion for $100 off of that (thank god)
156 without alterations and alterations are capped at 65

I wouldnt order our FG dresses from a bridal shop for that reason and because of the growth factor. My FGs are very small and by the time we get them, the odds are they wont fit. We are going to order them onine or use dresses from a friend who has two of the same.
