I am using a local baker for my cake, b/c it is not included. I have no clue where cake prices even begin. TIA

Re: How much do cakes cost?
It depends on how big it is (how many it serves) but I think they generally start at around $300 and can go WAY up from there, depending on what you want and what bakery you use

Re: How much do cakes cost?
I'm using king kullans and for my cake with cannollie cream and almond cake, they told me around $200 for a $100 people. So I highly recoment them. Also to cut cake cost try having a sheet cake made up and have display cake out for show. that way you save a lot of money off the fancy cake.

I agree. The bakery I looked at pricing was: Cakes start at $12.50/person Individual or miniature cakes are $15 and up (boxed) Sculpted cakes start at $15/person (30 portions minimum) Hand painting (portraits, etc.) $15/person Local deliveries start at $25

That's even more than what I saw - that's the reason I went with the cake that the hall included. I just couldn't see spending that on cake.
