How much do officiants usually charg?

I'm getting married soon and am looking for an officiant. I was suprised how much they charge....what are your experiences? They have had been quoted $325 - $500...is this normal?

Ours is $500. He is so wonderful though!! We could have asked him to lower the fee, but he is EXACTLY who we wanted and couldn't have asked for anything more.

All of the quotes I got were between $300-$500. We haven't decided on one yet. Any recommendations to my FM much appreciated. We have already written the ceremony and just need someone willing to go with that.

We used Renwick Jackson, who charged $300. He was amazing. his site
