I'm going to a wedding this sunday without FH because hes working... but i was just wondering because I'm always bad at this, how much do I give as a gift if its a Sunday wedding at the Watermill... any suggestions would be helpful. Once again Thanks Ladies!!!!!!!!

I know this thread will probably explode soon but I personally wouldn't base the amount on the place or day the people are getting married. I know some people go by the 'cover the plate' thing but I'd rather base it on whether I am going, and how close I am to the couple.
I dont really know what is recommended for you going by yourself, when your FH cant go but was invited.
Are these close friends? Family? OK friends? Maybe $125-200 depending on your relationship with them? I really dont know though sorry

I don't give a gift based on the day of week, time of year, or place of wedding.
I tend to give $100pp so if FH is with me the gift is $200. For friends and family I'm closer to I give more like about $150.

i'd say about $150 pp if you can. i know it's steep but in NY that's about avg to cover a plate.

$100 PP, FAMILY $150, For my Brothers wedding me and my Fiancee gave $500.

i always do at least $150 PP if it's a friend, if it's a close friend or family I give $200 PP
