Even if you bring lunch - that costs money too! And tell us what you typically have (a sandwich, soup, frozen entree, starbursts... )

I honestly don't know but I feel like it's a lot!

I know I spend about $1 per day on breakfast (toast & coffee special at the deli)

Then lunch may be soup at Au Bon Paine for $3.75 or a Sandwich at the Deli for $4.95 or a slice of pizza for $2.75. Sometimes I go with friends to a restaurant and that's always $12-$17!

I count lunch from home as free food, because even though it's not free, it's a hellava lot cheaper than midtowm manhattan lunches! And most of the time it's leftovers from the night before. I do make fried chicken cutlets each week and that's what DH eats EVERY day. So once a week I have that. That costs about $1.99 per pound for a package of breasts which we filet ourselves than any breadcrumb/egg we use.

We usually order from the deli or diner at lunch and it costs almost $10 (the places around where I work are really expensive).

I bring my coffee in the morning and buy a bagel so $1. I bring Lean Cuisines or Healthy Choice lunches. I get them on sale for $2 each. I buy a soda at work. $4 a day total!

I bring in oatmeal for breakfast....there are 6 packets for 2.50 usually.....so breakfast is mere pennies apparently.
Lunch I'll either bring in, or buy a sandwish or salad for $3ish.
not all that much, all in all

I usually only buy lunch 1-2 days a week...Usually winds up being $6-8. When I carry it probably costs $2 a day for cold cuts, fruit, etc. I've been buying the $1 fruit and yogurt parfait from McDonald's for breakfast...Have to make sure it really is healthy and I am not just kidding myself.

I normally spend anywhere from $2.00 up to $15 per day.. on anything from soup to thai food to dine-in restaurants with colleagues.

I RARELY bring lunch in, because then that would mean that I eat at my desk, and I HAVE TO get out of the office daily... I'll go insane, because everyone STILL interrupts me about work... even if they see my mouth full!!!

I probably eat out in general more than I should, though I have been good lately about bringing groceries to work (we have a kitchen with a microwave). If I eat out I try to spend no more than $6 or $7 for a mixed salad with lots of goodies (sometimes I can get a decent-sized one for $3), a sandwich or something else. At work I have veggie burgers and buns from Trader Joe's, microwave Annie's mac n cheese and plenty of snacks like carrots, cherry tomatoes and pita chips.

under $5. But I eat every two hours. I have snack foods that I keep in my office, like peanut butter, cereal, yogurt, fruit, protein powder, etc. I can't add that all up because it lasts so long. I guess alltogether I spend about $8 per day on food.
