depends on how big your place is, and if its an apartment in a house a condo or an apartment building?

Depends on many things, what kind of heat? how big is the place? is it well insulated?

I lived in a 1 br in a complex. I was working in NYC, so I was gone about 12-14 hrs a day. On the weekend they were some days when the TV was on 6-7 hours a day. I think I paid about 40 -50 per month. If your apt is bigger and there are 2 of you, I would say 60-65 the most. It really depends how much you use. The summers are always more w/AC.

we have a 2br in queens and pay just about $75/month in the winter but its been as high as $200 in the summer with our three air conditions
ETA - thats for electric only - our apartment comes with heat
