How much do you tip a manicurist?
Just curious, I've never really been sure whats appropriate. A $2 tip for a $10 manicure is 20%, but that doesnt seem like a whole lot....

i usually leave $3 for a $8 manicure and $5-$6 for a pedi....

If i only get a mani its $7 and i leave the 3 a mani pedi is $25 i leave the five....

i tip $2 for a $6 mani. when i get a mani/pedi, i tip $5. either way, it's a 33% tip. (my mani/pedi is only $15).

my manicure is $10. I always tip my girl $5. i go to her every week. she's so nice and always fits me in last minute even though she's busy.

my mani/pedi come out to $26 bucks-I have the same girl do both always and pay an even $40...so I tip $14 for both...
I work on the upper east side & the nail salon across the street charges $60 for a mani/pedi, so that's how I look at it as a bargain if anything

I pay $20 to get my nails filled every 2 weeks and I pay her $25 usually.

you cant go by me... im a notorious over-tipper. I tip 25-30% for EVERYTHING. I just got a perm french which was 90.. i tipped 30. lol
