Re: How much do you weigh

I am 5'7' and now weigh 149 pounds. WHen I started weight watchers I was 158-160 fluctuating. So i have already lost a bunch - but still have more to go. My goal is 132 - that is how much I weighed when I was 18.

lori...its liberating isn't it...I stopped lying about my weight awhile ago...I tell people...what else am I going to do? they see me...

laura...all I can say is i am not good at reading people's weight (I would give away a lot of stuffed animals if I worked at a guess your weight booth)...and you're tall...so that makes it harder...

Re: How much do you weigh

I'm 5'3 and I'm now at 145, I was pushing 180 earlier this year

I'm was only that weight for a couple fo years, I'm used to being between 115-120. I gained A LOT of weight when I moved in with FH....

My goal is to get to 115, but if I can get to 125 by my wedding I'd be soooo happy!!!

I am now 5'5' and was weighed in at WW last sunday as 139.9

Tommorrow I find out if I lost any weight!

Edited to say, I need to get back into the clothes I bought when I did WW the first time! And it seems that none of my clothes fit me anymore, I need to lose some weight.

chippa.. i couldnt tell you were that much.... you hide it well

i think men cause our weight to go up, mike can eat and not gain weight.. but when i see him eating what do i start to do... eat along with him...
when i met him i ended up gaining(upto20 lbs, then went down 20, then up 15,then down 5.... so currently im up 10)

Re: How much do you weigh

Chippa, my also FH does most of the cooking I have found that I 'have' to request girllie portions. Plus we are both doing low-carb FH is 6'1 AND now between 170-175-- so I'm more motivated than ever to get as thin as him....

We all rock and are doing sooo good!!!

Also, David always makes fun of me when I say men lose weight easier. I do give him total credit that he sticks with the diet and exercise, BUT men are not as emotional eaters as women! And I use to work in eating behavior research and men DO lose weight easier......

Eventually it will catch up to the men. I cooked all the time and Dale wouldn't gain an ounce because he worked outdoors so he never gained weight. But now that he doesn't work there, he has put ona few pounds but I love him no matter hwat. It actually made me feel a little bit better. He IS normal. hehehe.

Re: How much do you weigh

Thanks Emily

FI has really amazed me with WW. He is so hardcore with it. Recently he hasnt really been journaling or counting but has a good idea of what foods are worth (point wise)

Plus he works all day lifting suitcases and running around so that is his exercise. He is 257. When we started WW he was 302. He wants to go down to 245 then hit the gym and put on muscle.

So we are each others support. He counts my points when I dont feel like counting, he pushes me to get up and exercise when I dont feel like doing it, he is my encouragement. When he looks like he isnt eating a lot I'll start counting his points and journaling his day. We are their for each other and it really helps

Re: How much do you weigh

Wow, ok, this thread gave me some motivation. I have been feeling like such a shlep lately and I have gotten so fat. I used to be able to hide the extra weight and now I can't, and I need to really get back into doing something about it. I was doing WW for a while and it was really working and I totally have gone off it these last few weeks and I can tell I have gained weight already. It's so hard to stay motivated these days, I don't know why

Re: How much do you weigh

OK I am going to answer this so I can look back on it in September and say I did it ! (I hope )

I am 5'2' and weigh 135-140. I don't know which because my scale, the doctors scale and Curves scale all say different things. When I started to go to Curves I was 146. Way too much for my body frame and height.

When I first met my FH I was 120 and I could wear cute outfits etc, I had no problem with wearing belly baring jeans etc. I was very comfortable. I want to get back to being comfortable.

I can do it!!! Focus Focus Focus

Re: How much do you weigh

Ok this is for motivation and liberation for me as well. About 2 1/2 years ago - i weighed 175ish...my father had just lost 85 pounds and was down to 180. I was a little uncomfortable weighing in so closely to him, as he is 6' tall and i am only 5'3'. So I started a low carb diet - and lost like 30 pounds. But i got bored after like a year and missed sweets! So i took a little while off and gained about 5-10 pounds back.
At the beginning of this year I joined WW and am now down to like 140. My goal weight for myself is 120, although I don't know if that is reasonable or healthy.
But now that I have written it down I am determined to do it. I will not cheat on the weekends, I will start waking or running and I will get to the point where I can wear any clothes that I want to. And I will look great in my strapless gown next April!!
