I figured it was too expensive....are all abnds like $10,000? I realized I really don't know how much they cost. Anyone have any info? I m just curious. Also, how much is your ceremony and cocktial hour music costing, for those of you who are having live musicians? I'm wondering how much I should budget or if I cna even afford it. Thanks !

We used Skyline who i LOVED - definitely my best vendor - they were $5100 when we booked. I know bands are considerably more that DJ's but we were really happy with that price. That included a keyboardist playing for our ceremony and during cocktail hour. We LOVED them!! If you want more info or have questions - i'd be happy to answer them for you!

We are using another Skyline band (Code Bleu) so it's the same story, except $5200. There are plenty of great bands out there for $5000-$7000. I'm not sure what we're doing for ceremony music yet. We can set something up through them, but it's pretty expensive.

Most are less than $10,000. I believe we paid around $6,000 for an 8 piece band, which included music for the ceremony and cocktail hour.

We are paying $6000 for an 8 piece band - they are playing during the ceremony & CH as well.

My band is going for under 5K now. I used them a few years ago. Niteflight is a 9 pc band. They were fabulous. They have a website to check out video clips..www.niteflightproductions.com. You don't have to spend $10k, there are great bands for less.

I would say most bands I looked at were between $5,000-6800. Not more than that!

I paid $5500 for a classical trio for my ceremony, a calypso band for CH and an 8 piece band for the reception.

I think it's a thousand more during 'high season' which I am guessing is Spring and Fall.

We wanted the Nerds, they were $10,000 and very obnoxious, because they have to travel, so we canned them.
We booked Full House for $6500, that's about the average.
