How much does lighting cost?

Hi all - quick question....ballpark how much does lighting cost? I wasnt really planning on getting lighting but IF i was going to how much should I expect to spend? My ballroom isnt that big - only about 45 x 65....so i just wanted to do up-lighting.

are you talking stationary lights or the color change LED?

I think with the place we went with it was 25 each for stationary single color lights, and 65 each for the color change, so we did our reception in LED and ceremony in single color for 1305

haha i actually dont know the difference. I guess I would just want to do one color (purple) in the ballroom and thats it. If you dont mind me asking - which vendor did you use ?

our RH has this built in and they charged us $2k

We are using New York Lounge Decor. Since we're at Fox Hollow (2 seconds from their office) and we're only doing one color they gave us an amazing price.

I'm a little confused now! I thought the DJ supplied uplighting. I definitely want this for the reception.

I am having a band....and they don't provide lighting...which is why I have to go to a separate vendor for this.

check out glen from prestige lighting events hes doing our lighting for 1500 for all around the room in blue pin lighting tables and cake

Parties Alive is doing our intelligent lighting as part of our package.

We have the same RH and I got my uplighting through my florist. She charged me $30 per uplight and I needed 10 of them for the entire room (I asked Eric and he said that 10-12 was the most you need for the main ballroom).
