mines about $100 a place setting but there are sales and coupons that can be used to get it down to like $75

I think you'll find that by far the most popular price is $125 for the 5-piece place setting (that's what mine is). Some places like Michael C Fina or East Side China will throw in the soup dish as well so it's 6 pcs for $125.

$86, the price had nothing to do with why I picked it. My grandma wanted to buy me china so she took me to maycs and let me pick out whatever I wanted. I check it online though and its always on sale at macys!
IMO your registry is your dream/wish list and china is something you are going to have for a veryyyy long time I think it is ok to have expensive china on there. It would obvie. be nice if someone buys it but your not forcing anyone to by having it on there.

Mine at regular price is $139 a place setting. Department stores are having huge sales and you can get place setting and serving pieces discounted. Over the weekend my mother purchased my service for 12 with the gravy boat for $1200 at Macys. Macys is always having sales and over the weekend for my set it was for every $150 a soup bowl is included. She ended up with 10 free soup bowls and just purchase 2 additonal to complete the set. China is expensive but it is something you will have for the rest of your life.
