How much for flowers.....(w/poll)

Just wondering how much everyone spent on their flowers and how much is too much to spend per centerpiece???

Here is what I am getting:

25 high table centerpieces with votives
1 place card centerpiece
2 memory vases
1 low centerpiece for dais
Rose petals for all tables and cake table
2 Altar pieces
Pew decorations

I spent under 1,000 but I am doing only bridal party no centerpieces.

I know its crazy.....we chose to have really big high centerpieces because of the size of the room. This is where the most of the flower budget is going to. Hopefully we will have a few less tables which will save us money.

Could you alternate high and low? You could put candles in the low ones to create some height.

just an idea We didn't want to spend over $2k on flowers. . . .so we didn't :)

Our quote was a little over $5,000. My moms friend is my florist and she is giving us a great deal.. Still VERY pricey but she said that she would usually charge about $15,000 for the flowers I chose and the amount I need.
