How much for the wedding dress

Just out of curiousity, how much have you ladies spent or plan to spend on your wedding dress?

Total $1846 for the dress, slip and Veil not including alterations.

I am in the process of shopping but plan on spending more than 5k(it breaks my heart bc i live a super cheap lifestyle)but I am in love with designer dresses.My sister spent 10k which is INSANE but she said it is worth every penny!

If you can fit into sample gowns(I am street size 12 so a girl can dream), I suggest to look at the outlet of Nieman Marcus.They have Vera Wang Amsale etc for under $700, if you go to the one in NJ Gardens you get to save money on taxes and open up a CC its 15% off! I am not sure if the Deer Park location has wedding dresses, but it isnt that crazy like sample sales maybe

mine was $1,000 even.....haven't even looked at veils/headpieces, shoes, etc. yet.

I spent $4500 and had set a budget of 5k on the gown (I bought it myself) so I was UNDER budget technically.
A portion of the proceeds from my dress go to the Breast Cancer Research Fund. So in a way, my dress is giving back! My mom is a survivor 8 years so I feel that it was money well spent.

$5500 on dress alone before alterations, veil, headpiece etc .......way way way more than i planned/wanted/can spend, but I LOVE EVERY BIT OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!! i looked at just about every single designer and fell in love with an eve of milady gown :)

$1,200 dress..(without some add ons and alterations) $750 veil.. My mom bought them for me.

My dress retails for 1120, but I was able to get it for less...so just under 1000 without the veil or tax.
