How much for wedding hair?

So i fell in love with a hair stylist her work is great and she is very well known. I just wanted to check with all you girls cause i think her price is a little on the high side, but im not really sure? She charges $100 for an hour trial where she will do two hair styles and then $200 day of plus this includes comming to the house with an assistant, so what does everyone think? It's 100 for bridal party. Thanks so much!

Thats a customary price for a good hair stylist. Im paying $200 for hair for the day of. The only thing that seems maybe a lil expensive is the $100 for the trial. Im using the same person for Hair AND makeup. My trial was $150 no time limit (I spent 3 1/2 hours with her) and she did 3 hairstyles and 2 different things with my eyeliner, cause I loved the face makeup and the eye shadow.

But for the day of thats pretty standard. When I went to the salon I usually go to for my hair they wanted $150 for the day of and they dont specialize in brides like the person Im using. So I think its customary and not OVER the TOP BUT I am also the kind of person that for my hair/skin/makeup I SPLURGE!

This is the way I look at it, your wedding day pictures are FOREVER and the day of you want to feel and look AMAZING. If you found someone who makes you feel that way then I say GO FOR IT!
