I began researching 11-14 days in Italy or Alaska and both trips are totaling up to be very expensive.... from like 8-10k... is that too much to spend for a honeymoon?

I hate to say it but that's about what we are spending on ours. It's two weeks in Maui and Kauai and it's costing us about 7000 before food or entertainment. We've saved and saved...I will say that we actually booked our honeymoon through Costco though- I never thought I'd be doing that, but they had the best overall deal.

mine is going to be only about $4000-4500 because we're doing 15 days of cruising from NY to Bermuda and the Caribbean. No flights b/c FH doesn't fly

We spent $1700 for 4 days all inclusive (and flight) to Cancun.
FH was layed off so at first we weren't even going to do a HM but with a deal like that we couldnt resist.

My friend told me he and wife went for their HM to Italy for 3 weeks and spend between 5 to 6k. The book everything by thenselves though, they didn't use a travel agency.

10 Days/ 9 nights in a Mexican all inclusive will cost us $4200. Our flight are free though. If we had to pay airfare it would have been 4800 ish.

ours will be around $5500. We are ging on a 15 day grand panama canal cruise which stops in aruba, colombia, panama, costa rica and mexico. the cruise was less then $5000, but we still need airfare from fla and Cali.
