How much is a good amount to spend..

.. on bridal party gifts? I looked around at old posts on here, and people were saying $150-200 each, but I have 8 girls... does this rule still apply to me? lol

I got them tote bags, cosmetic cases, makeup, hangers, monogrammed oxford shirts to wear on the day of, and a pearl bracelet and earrings. Is this enough, or should I add another little gift in there?

I agree!! I'm def not doing that much bc I can't afford that!! we have 21 people to buy for!!
my. matron of honor have me stuff from target for her wedding! mostly the dollar section in target! good friends won't care...my friend said it best the other day.... they didn't day yes to bring your bm for the gift! just do what you. think it's best and importantly what u can afford!

You buy what you can afford. I have 7 girls and I'm spending about $60-$75 each.

When I was talking to one of my friends about bridal party gifts and how I saw on here about spending like $150 she thought I was out of my mind. She said more like $50-75.

that's exactly what my friend said to me she said she didn't like $40 gift certificate for mani pedi. and doj. that's all she did!

i have 7 girls and two flower girls. no way i'm spending that much. probably $60-$75 for each girl, a bit more for my MOHs.

As we are on a very tight budget we are doing about $40 each and we have 9 in our party.
We got the jewelry for the girls and will probably get a digital picture frame or something for the guys.

You did just about everything I plan on doing for my girls, probably a bit more. Stick to your budget. My FH was a groomsmen in October and his gift was an orange foamy beer koozy...thats it.

Im not saying that's what you should base your ideas on, but remember it, and know you are doing a lot better than that lol.

I spent about $100 each and then paid for my MOH and best friend's hair/makeup (they paid for my entire bach party, which was a fortune).

i'm thinking of spending $100. So far I bought their DOJ, tumblers for the morning of, a monogrammed Land's End tote bags. Not sure yet what else I am getting. I plan to buy my MOH something extra from everyone else too. For the flower girls i bought their DOJ, handkerchiefs, personalized zippy cups (to avoid spills) and I will also be getting them white pjs and a tutu to change into at reception for later in the night. For groomsmen we go them Oakleys & will buy buying their ties & socks.

We have 17 people total in BP. 6 BM 1 MOH 6 GM 1 best man 1 JBM & 2 flower girls

Yeah I think I've spent about 60-75 each so far. I was thinking maybe I should get tumblers to add into their bags to make it look a littler fuller haha... Soon2BeMrsMango, did you get them on etsy?

Yes. I ordered them from DeLaDesign. a lot of LIW brides have got from that shop. I LOVE THEM!

That is more than enough! I have 1 MOH, 3 BM and 1 JrBM. I got them each a $40 certificate for a wedding mani/pedi and these nice kimono style getting ready robes (which I had embroidered with their name and wedding date on the end of the sleeves). That came to about $120 each. For the MOH, I am also going to take care of her makeup.

It really ranges. My cousin gave everyone tiffany heart necklaces, where I had a friend that gave me a bottle of $10 lotion (I guess she didn't want us to have ashy knees???!!!) What you got your bridal party seems like plenty.

I have the same problem!! I'm having a party of 7 girls and the gifts will add up quickly but I've been seeing everyone saying they are spending aprrox $100. I dont know what ill do yet but I've been thinking about paying for the girls hair or make-up which would be around $75 and then either a piece of jewlery or a robe for the morning of photo's!
