I am going tonight to get some ideas and prices for the honeymoon and I am not sure how much is too much and if anyone has a good suggestion for a sept honeymoon. I want romantic yet fun in a warm climate. My FH agrees except I think he just wants to sit on his butt the whole time drinking margaritas and soaking up the sun!

We're spending about $6500 for 12 nights in Hawaii (that doesn't include what we spend once we get there).

We went to the Royal Hideaway in Riviera Maya also! It was fabulous!! I write about it all of the time on here We went for 10 nights and had an ocean view room. Its all inclusive and the food is sooo good and you can get all the drinks you want. At dinner, there is even a wine list that you can order bottles of wine that are included in the all inclusive package. We took two excursions - one snorkeling and one combo to Tulum (mayan ruins) and Xel Ha (natural inlet/water park). With the excursions and flights I think it came to approx $5500. As a follow up.....when you all say you're budgeting a certain amount, is that JUST for the trip itself or are you factoring meals, souvineers, tours, drinks, etc.?
My $5K includes all meals, drinks, activities and excursions. So we hope not to go over $5K total - including 'incidentals' since we're going to Mexico and are stayin at an AI resort, it shouldn't be hard. We booked the hotel and air, so we have a couple of hundred $$ to spare for the rest. HTH!

$5,000 for Sandals Whitehouse Jamaica- This is for their top of the line room with butler service! The figure also includes the airfare and spending money. But I also booked it when they were having their 50% sale.

I went to Hawaii and spent $10,000 the trip was just over $6k and then with dinner and spending money it came out to just over $10k. Dinner was $75-125 a night and any of the trips we went on were 150 and up per person. Best of luck..

We spent a little over $7,000 for ours. We stayed 9 days at the Sandals Royal Bahamian. So worth it. We originally had St. Lucia booked and that was over $10,000 with air fare.

We are budgeting 5K for a 4 day disney cruise and 3 days at a moderate Disney hotel, and airfare.

We're paying $5K for the swim-up casita suite at El Dorado Royale in the Riviera Maya for 9 days/8 nights. We'll probably budget about another $1000 for spending money while there (since its an all-inclusive, this will just be for activities and tours).
