I am going tonight to get some ideas and prices for the honeymoon and I am not sure how much is too much and if anyone has a good suggestion for a sept honeymoon. I want romantic yet fun in a warm climate. My FH agrees except I think he just wants to sit on his butt the whole time drinking margaritas and soaking up the sun!

The price really depends on where you want to go. 10 days in Tahiti could cost $10,000 but the same 10 days in Aruba might cost $6000, you know? For September, actually, Aruba, Curacao, and Bermuda are good options because I believe they're out of the hurricane belt. We're going to Anguilla in the British West Indies from the beginning to mid-August and we're hoping for no rain ETA: The trip is about $7000 for 10 nights including air. With meals, shopping, etc. it might get up to $10,000 total. Hope this helps!

You sound like me! We are budgeting $5K and are going here Royal Hideaway for 8 nights/9 days, we booked through Hayley at Beach Bum and got a great deal. Royal Hideaway is one of the pricier hotels in the Riviera Maya, but El Dorado Royale is beautiful as well and definitely more affordable. Good luck!

we budgeted $5000.
We are going to San Juan, PR and then St. Lucia (the Grande Sandals resort) and looks like we are just gonna make it under our budget.

We budgeted around 5k.
We are thinking St.Lucia or Jamaica. I would rather go to St.lucia but not sure if 5K will cut it.

ETA - we have not made a honeymoon budget. I was thinking Hawaii since we've never been but now I'm thinking Capri, French Riviera and FI likes the idea of Turtle Island.

As a follow up.....when you all say you're budgeting a certain amount, is that JUST for the trip itself or are you factoring meals, souvineers, tours, drinks, etc.?

We are going to go on a cruise out of Puerto Rico that covers the Southern Caribean. We are budgeting about $3500, so we can spend an extra day or 2 in Puerto Rico and go crazy with the excursions and drinking!!!

We budgeted $10k and are going to French Polynesia. The flights alone are about $2700. I got great hotel rate via my employee discount.
I also have to say the Royal Hideaway is awesome. I loved it there!! It's the best tropical vacation I've been on..so far!

I absolutely love it at Royal Hideaway. It's the only resort I have visited more than once. And we plan to visit again in the next year.

The trip itself (airfare, cruise, hotel before cruise) is just under $6K ($5800). Originally that's what we wanted to spend on the whole thing . Now we're looking at 8K to include all (excursions, drinks, etc).
