How much is everyone paying for video/photographers
We just booked them and we're paying $5600. Is this a good price? I'm hoping we got a good price.

They are both so expensive.
My photograpphy $2000, and so far video seems to be around $1700 for an all day service.

My photography package is a little over $1,500 (keep in mind, this gets me the CDs with all of the photos and all my negatives from what's taken with film - no albums). Fortunately, and because God is good, I won a free video package when I went to LIW's WOTY. It's worth $1,250.
But the prices all quoted above sound like the norm. Especially if you're getting albums.

We're paying $4,800 (before taxes) for both photo and video. We are getting a casual day shoot, plus two photographers on the day of the wedding. We upgraded our album b/c we didn't want to get the Soho style album, so it cost us a little more than the usual package from Duet.

We did photo and video separately, but our photo price is around $6K after taxes; video is a little less (but not by much, unfortunately).

$4500 for video and photographer- Duet plus keeping all the proofs, three albums, 100 wallet sized, etc. etc.

$2700 for video - Bliss $2100 for photos - Twelfth Night
Definitely A LOT more than I wanted to spend, but I loved both of their work and personality so much.

We are paying a lot, but it's the only thing we splurged on. 3400- Photo,Platinum package including e-pics from Duet 2400- video, including two cameras, documentary retrospective and dvd, Bellarino

From the get go I said I wanted amazing pictures and video... afterall, once the day is over, the images are all you have left (not to down play the being married part or anything). All together I think I'm paying over $8K for photo and video.

$4K total from Duet
Includes:
1 12 X 12 Galleria album (this was an upgrade) no limit or charge on extra effects, b/w 2 photographers for 10 hours 1 16 x 20, 1 5 x 7, 1 8 x 10 at least 600 proofs 1 videographer for 10 hours 3 DVD's all negatives engagement shoot
I switched to them recently. We did not want parent albums and I did some negotiating.
Keep in mind... everything is negotiable.
