How much is everyone spending on a cake topper?

Original post by wc0143

I had found a website that did custom toppers (based on your photos) and they could also add our dogs (from pic) but it was like $1400 or something outrageous! I just saw something non-custom that I kinda liked and it's $150, which for what it is, still seems like a lot. So just curious what everyone else is spending.

This is for the groom's cake for the rehearsal dinner since I'm not having a cake topper for the wedding cake. It was $59.95

My Lenox one was about $35 with shipping and it stayed on my cake all day.
