and what are you giving? what is the average price to spend ( i know it depends on what you are getting) but what do you all think is a good/fair/reasonable price?
We did silver plated wine stoppers wrapped in oegana bags with jordan almonds for about $5.50 each. We did one per couple.
We are doing Christmas ornaments because the wedding is end of November. We are going to decorate a big tree in the room (a fake one that my Mom is buying to keep for herself after wedding) because the hall will be decorated for Christmas already. I bought about 100 ormanents at Fortunoff the day after x-mas and it was under $300. I have picked up a few others along the way and have about 125 of them. The wedding isn't til '04 so I'll be back at Fortunoff after x-mas this year. All I need to get is ribbons to put on them and little bags to put in a basket on the floor next to tree for guests to take the ornaments home in. I figure it will be around $4 each favor.
We're doing Mikasa 'heart' crystal wine bottle stoppers, one per couple. They came to $5.50. I wanted to give something that is useful, not something that will be thrown in the garbage in a few weeks.
