Mine comes as part of the package with the hall. I have no idea how much wedding cakes are from a bakery. Maybe a couple of hundred?

I was hoping to spend no more than $500. I called the place you recommended - Krieg's - and they said they don't make wedding cakes? I also called the Blue Duck and spoke to Keith, the baker - he quoted around $425 for 130 people. I guess that's not too bad for the Hamptons....

Mine came with the hall I know the prices of cakes can range from 6 to up to $12 a slice.

My hall included as basic cake, I made few changes for about $100. I was thinking of doing a groom's cake-they said they would charge $1.50 p/slice.

I'm also getting married in the hamptons. I saw one baker out there-she wanted $800 for 75 people and the cake wasn't very good:
I think I'll try Audrey's in Saville-they seem alot more reasonable and they said they'd deliver out there.

Are you going with Blue Duck?

Mine comes with my hall, but I might upgrade my cake for additional money.

My sister used Michelle Perez at Just in Cakes. She made a beautiful cake and I think it was around 600 or 800. She was very happy with her. I believe she also delivers any where on the Island.

Mine is also included in the catering hall price but maybe this is an idea. I will ask my catering hall for a plain white cake and as per my florist he will decorate my cake with the same color roses as my centerpiece. I can't wait to see it!!!

Mine will be $335 from Blue Duck Bakery in Southampton. It has 3 tiers plus a sheet cake with a celtic knot design. This price includes delivery. I am so happy.

My cake was a custom design, so it was a bit more expensive than average. However, I highly, highly recommend my baker, Cynthia Peithman of Cakeline Couture. She works out of her home in Belle Harbor, and she did an amazing job. I believe her prices are based on how many guests you want to serve. She does have a delivery charge, however. We paid $75 dollars to get our cake delivered from Belle Harbor to Port Jeff. It was well worth it - the cake was beautiful, delicious and just as tasty one year later!
