I was wondering do you girls know how much we tip. Or is the guidelines for tipping.

This is what we did.
This is what we were planning to tip Maitre D $400.00 Bridal attendant $100.00 DJ $300.00 (3 guys) Photo $100.00 Video $100.00 Limos $50.00 each- tip was already included,plus my dad tiped them extra.
This is what we wound up tipping the day of: just because they were all great. Bring extra $ just in case.. Maitre D $500.00 Bridal attendant $200.00 DJ $400.00 (3 guys) Photo $200.00 Video $200.00
Maitre d is usually i beleive $2-$4 a head. we had 120 guests

I've been told that if a vendor owns his business, it's not necessary to tip them. We also fed all of the vendors which most people do too. If you make tip envelopes in advance for everyone and hand them to someone you can trust to take care of it... it's one thing less to worry about that night.

I'm not too sure but I've heard alot of the tipping depends on how many guests you have... a $3/pp lets say... as opposed to a flat amount, especially with valet, matre'd and others.
