How many people are in your bridal party? And what is it compromised Of???? Right now I have 7 girls; which is 2 MOH and a matron of Honor and 4 BM idk if I wanna just demote one of them. Is it too much,????

I have 20 in total! It's how many you want it to be. I have 2 MOH, 8 bridesmaids and 2 best men and 8 groomsmen and they are all siblings and first cousins and I wouldn't take them out for anything! It's up to you who you feel you really want in it!

I am going to have a lot too! 7 bridesmaids, 7 groomsmen, 2 flower girls(our kids) and I wanted to include my niece and nephew. I was thinking they can hold the 'here comes the bride' sign walking down the aisle.

I have a small bridal party by comparison..
1 Maid of Honor, 2 Bridesmaids, 1 Flower girl.. He's got a best man and three groomsmen...
total of 8 :)

i have 2 MOHs 4 BMs, he has 2 Best Men, 5 GMs, 2 ring bearers, and 1 flower girl

I have 7 also and ya know what? A lot of people are telling me that's too much, but if those are who are most close to me, that is who I'm asking. Do what you want. It's your day. You should not make someone not be a part of it if they are close to you just b/c you feel you need to get the number down. I didn't just haphazardly ask people, which I am sure neither did you, I just asked the people who have been closest to me and it just so happens that it is 7.
FWIW, my sister's fiance is having 10 groomsmen. (She's having 7 BMs)

I always wanted a small wedding party and then once I got engaged and started sersiouly talking about who would be in my wedding. I got bigger and now I am at 6 and 6 AND it may get bigger!

I agree! I have 5 brothers , 2 soon to be brother in laws,3 sister in laws and 2 soon to be sister in laws who are all in the bridal party plus my best friend and cousin. lol I have a big family and I can't imagine them not being in my wedding. I think you should do what you want.

That is not too much. I have 2 MOH, 5 BM, 2 Jr BM, 5 GM, 2 Jr GM, 2 FG, 1 Ringbearer, and my god son with be carrying the broom (we will be jumping the broom).

We wanted to keep it small bc once we get to a certain person then someone else has to be in it and so on so it would be a circus bc we have a lot of close friends.
I have my two sisters (MOHs) and 3 of my closest friends that I have known the longest. He has 5 all together too. Not sure what we are doing with flower girl(s) etc

You can have as many or as few people in your bridal party. I have 2 MOH's 3 bridesmaids, 1 BM, and 3 GM.

2 things: A lot of people take pride in being a MOH. To demote them might seriously hurt their feelings or make them feel like they've done something wrong. So if you've already asked, I don't think you should demote unless you have a solid reason to do so. (MOH is being un-supportive, driving you crazy, etc.)
I don't think there is a 'normal' bridal party nowadays. It is whatever you want it to be. You're 3 MOHs and 4 BMs sounds great!

I have 2 MOH and 3 BMs. FH hasn't picked his men yet, but I think he will have 1 BM and 2 GM.

I have 15 in total.. one MOH 5 BM's 1 Jr. BM, one best man, 5 groomsmen..and then add two for my flower girl & ring bearer...Personally who ever is that important & you want standing by your side do it.. Who's to say its too much ?
