How much is too much for Shoes....

I think I want to change my mind about my shoes I am paying over 200.00 for them Is that too much?.

Um-- I paid 225 for shoes.. so maybe I am not the one to ask.. BUT, I looked- and just made the right choice for me-- I had a hard time finding the right heel height with the style I was looking for.

i paid $35.00 - i'll never wear them again so I wasn't going crazy because of that

Depends.... I paid under $20 for my first pair...found them on a whim but am looking for a second pair since I think my feet will hurt in these by the end of the night. If you love them, go for them but I am hoping to find my second pair for around $50.

if its in your budget you should keep them, dont torture yourself there is a reason why you picked that shoe

as long as you are happy w/ them that is what is important...hey you can spend $1000 or $10 on shoes if you want...$200 is fair if you got a particular designer

i think it depends on your priorities...i know my fiance and i are paying for everything ourselves, so i will shop for inexpensive, but nice looking shoes ( no one will see them) so that wasn't as big of a priority for me as the catering hall...besides, i always like to shop around for a bargain

I think it depends upon how much brand X shoes matter to you. I got a pair of Fenaroli's that were being discontinued for half price (Orig. $180 and I got them for $90). I think DSW sometimes carries Stewart Weitzman and Vera Wang bridal shoes for $40-200.

I have a friend who wanted Manolo's and spent $600 because she wanted to feel like a princess when she got married. Her shoes cost more than her dress. I went for the dress - I figure more people will see the dress than the shoes. Shoes need to be comfortable. IMHO.

depends on what you want

ie -my veil was expensive 200+ because
i wanted a custom made shimmer yet my shoes were $40

so - my motto -Your Day, Yr Way

(yr FH input of course)

It is all what you like and you comfort level. I spent a lot on my shoes but they were the most comfortable shoes I had found and loved. TO me the price tag was worth a day of my feet not hurting AND i will dye them after so that I can wear them again.

thanks ladies I will try to go to the store and see if I can find one that is least expensive (at least half of 240.00) I only left 100.00 dep maybe I can find one for that price

I look at it this way: Some girls will splurge on a headpiece, some on shoes, some on something else. If shoes are important to you and you love the pair, go for it!!

to me thats too much, BUT it's because I budgeted more elsewhere. It depends on what you really want. If you can budget them in, then go for it, nothings too much if you can somehow afford it.

I did get a good deal on mine though..Stuart Weitzman shoes at DSW on clearance marked down from $179 to $41!!!!
