How much is your accommodations charging for blocked rooms?
I just want to get an idea of what other hotels are charging to see if the rate of my place is reasonable and to see if it is reasonable to ask guest to pay that amount.

FH and I just went to 12 places yesterday and it varied from 119 to 185 and that wasn't with the discount.... no one was around to give us exact prices at some places.

we are in nyc so things are obviously more expensive...but we have a 'high-end' option that is running about $250/night without taxes, and our mid-price option is about $150 night.

I booked rooms at the Wingate Inn for 149/night.

That is a good price with the Marriot. The Marriot quoted me 149 a night and that was with the early reservation (over a year) discount.
Wow the prices seem cheaper than what I was quoted. The cheapest place I could find was 149, maybe it is because I am looking in Nassau County and it is in July (which is a busy season I think?).

We didn't have to guarantee any. We blocked 30 rooms. Whatever isn't blocked by 12/1 gets released.

Re: How much is your accommodations charging for blocked rooms?
We had to guarantee a certain number on Friday (I think it was like 15 rooms) and then Saturday (20 rooms) which we will get from our bridal party alone for $159/ night at the Harrison House. (We have like 60% OOT guests) We are putting $20 towards everyone's room though because so many people are from out of town that they aren't used to such high prices for rooms.

Most likely Yes and Yes. Hotels too have a peak season, and quite often its the summer on LI too (because of 'wedding season' and the beaches). In Suffolk there are a TON of hotels going up, so their avg room rate has gone down over the last few years. While the Marriot in Uniondale, Wyndam and GC Hotel are all relatively close, there certainly aren't as many choices as Suffolk which keeps their prices a tad higher.
