How much is your accommodations charging for blocked rooms?

I just want to get an idea of what other hotels are charging to see if the rate of my place is reasonable and to see if it is reasonable to ask guest to pay that amount.

I did the Marriott got the price for $129. I called around and this hotel was giving our guest the most for there money.

Our guests are paying $115 for the Hyatt Windwatch which is a 5 star hotel. We blocked room sright before they became the Hyatt so it might be higher now.

$159/night at The Hampton Inn and Suites in RVC
$189/night at the LI Marriott
We did encourage our guests to book outside of the block because they can get better rates that way with discounts from AARP, AAA and other organizations.

$209 - Inn at Fox Hollow - They're an all-suite hotel next door to Fox Hollow.
We blocked 10 rooms, and we have to guarantee at least 5 rooms, if 5 rooms aren't booked by the time of the wedding, we have to pay for them...

We blocked off 15 room sat the Best Western/Holiday Inn in Riverhead for 189$ a night...

I blocked rooms off at the Harrison House for $159 a night as well. This includes a gormet breakfast for all of the guests (which I may subsidize the rate b/c usually we would be responsible for paying for breakfast the next day). This was the cheapest (with the exception of the Marriot $149 a night w/no breakfast) that I could find. I called every where. Most of the quotes on here are actually different than what I was quoted. The most convienant place was the Roslyn Claremont but that was $169 a night w/no breakfast, and the bar would not be open for guests after the wedding - also the HH has a great bar and is nicer IMO.

We blocked rooms at the Hampton Inn at Brookhaven. They are charging $159 a night and will provide a shuttle to and from the reception if 10 rooms are booked.

The East Wind is expensive. I blocked rooms at over $200 and now I've nervous that it's too expensive for some of the OOT-ers that have to stay several nights. I might block other rooms at a cheaper place.

We are using the Hilton Garden Inn on Vet's Highway in Ronkonkoma and I think they are charging us 129 or 139..I have to ask my mom...she is handling all of that

We blocked our rooms there too in July 2004 before they switched and our guests are paying $125 a night
