How much is your church charging you?

I'm paying $1,150! Granted $200 is a refundable 'late fee' but is that a lot or am I wrong to be a little annoyed with that price?

$450.00 and that included the cantor and organist, rehearsal-everything needed

forgot to say it is a mass too- not sure if that matters

Im looking into churches as well cuz i really don't want to have the ceremony at crest hollow....its harder for me to find a church cuz we have alot of ppl coming....we have abt 650 guests.....ya i know its alot...anyway the churches that i saw were asking between $1500 - $2000 .... I thought that was the avg price....but i guess not .....I thought it was a good deal cuz I know someone that paid almost $6000 for a church

Oh my goodness!!! They are charging you an arm and a leg. Mine if $400 for mass and $250 for the music plus tip for the alter server

I am astounded at some of these prices! I am paying $525 for the church and $100 for their precana program.

And I've been complaining about it!

how on earth could a church charge thousands of dollars?? i mean, unless you are having some serious musical parts to your service that require extra payment??

$450 but I think they raised the price this year...Also had to pay $75 for Pre Cana

We're paying $950 -- that includes the organist fee, the clergy, the altar guild, and the actual church.

$250 for their ceremony musicians

We have to pay $550 for the Church and $50 for precana.

Huh, say what???? This is just absolutely ridiculous - $6000 for a church fee? I'd love to know which church charges this! I've heard of churches charging up to $1500, but I think even that is too much unless it is a historical church - not every church is historical etc.

we paid $300, including the rehearsal, but not the music. that was another $200 to the organist directly.

150 for organist
50 for singer

I am not sure what the precana cost is yet
