I think ours seems way too high, especially for our usage... we are on a budget plan but still... $250/month seems like ALOT. Am I wrong - is this the norm?

Ours is $68. We have a small 3 bedroom ranch though. We just got a hot-water heater, which we never had so I don't know if it going to go up. We are actually 'under' our budget so far. It is up in September.

Question!! When you post how much you pay can you also say how much your sq footage is.

Good idea... I think ours is around 2900 sq ft... it's a 4 bdrm hi-ranch.

My dh says we have 1,200 sq. ft. We have a small 3 bedroom, 1 bath ranch, living room, kitchen, eat in kitchen (not big enough to call a dining room) and a full basement (not finished).

If you go on budget, it will be the same for about 10 months out of the year. Sometimes they raise ours for the last 2 months to equal out for the next year. It is not an immense amount though, so it doesn't break the bank.
