I own an Audi A4.

I bought it brand new in 2001 with several options. I put about $3000 down and pay about 345 a month.

ETA: my payment does not include insurance. Sorry about that !! I pay about 700 every 6 months for insurance.

I put down $10k on my focus. I paid $140 a month for 4 years then paid it off then end of that year.

around 350 for a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe. That doesn't include insurance - but DH added on some kind of extended warranty - he put about $4000 down too.

$470 - 2003 Nissan Maxima (lease)

Those don't include insurance.

430 a month for a 2004 Santa Fe. We have a ton of options on it, the ten year warranty and only put down about 1500.

why do 2 people own 3 cars? I know you live in VA, but I where I am ( in an apt) , I can't imagine parking 3 cars!

Yup.

I bought at the end of the season (right before the '04's came out), I put down 5K and have a 2.9% interest rate over 60 months. I also didn't add lojack or extended warranty's.

What was your Downpayment and interest rate? It's still quite a difference.

I have a fully loaded GLS, and it was a Limited edition color, so I couldn;t get a great price. I have no diea what the itnerest rate is, but it was before 9.11, so it must be higher. I just can't get over how much I'm paying for car payments..I never realized they were really high until someone asked me a week or two ago and his jaw about dropped to the floor.

Finance - we didn't put any money down.

And tourist - until a couple of months ago we had FOUR cars! We finally got rid of my 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT.
DH is trying to sell his IS300.
We didn't intend to have this many cars; it was just hard to sell our old cars during the winter

Mine's just the car. it's a 5 year finance...and it's almost done, thank god. The car's in my dad's name, so it must have had some astronomical interest rate..because everyone tells me 'what are you driving a lexus or something?' But bugs are pretty expensive
ETA: We put down a $5000 downpayment

Oh, also i got an extended warranty, lojack and a lojack warranty, so that factors into the final price.

Do you realize that after 5 years you will have paid $32000 for your bug...I hope you got the convertible at least.

I pay $135 a month for my 2001 prizm that I got in 2003. I took the loan out for 5 years.

Danielle pays $235 a month for her lease on her 2002 civic...She has a year left on it.

wow..that's insane...no, the convertib;e wasn't out yet! and to get a retrofitted convertible at that time was $40K!

i think my car was about $23K
Plus another couple thou for warranty and lojack and stuff

It must have been a really high interest rate...my dad took out the loan and his credit isn't great. Plus this was in may 2000, so it was before the rates dropped
