our budget was $20,000 for 150 guests on a sunday evening in may. we're almost at $30k now.

i think thats what will happen to us lol im budgeting 20k though.....lets see.....wonder where the moneys gonna come from when its crunch time closer to the date lol

saturday night wedding in September , every thing from dress, rings, band, flowers honeymoon , its between 60- 70k ( closer to 70 now that i think about it

When did this happen? I reallly can't get over this.
I mean I've never been a spoiled brat or a gold digger or anythign like that.

I am sooo bummed right now. I dont know why... I mean I knew all the costs but I just didnt add it all up together. ok vent over
ahhhhhhhhhh im leaving work and im going to have a drink.

LOL I think I did pretty good! I dont consider myself a 'budget bride' as I figured I only get one wedding. But I also know what is insane and what is reasonable. But we are comming out under 30K. But we also got a lower price for doing a friday night- which I didn't realize was cheaper than a saturday till after I booked it. I just liked the idea of a later evening wedding. And we are having about 145 people- which isn't too huge of a number. So I think I was able to get some great deals without even trying too hard. LOL. :)

I forgot to add that we won our video in a raffle and we dont have limos cus we are staying at teh Inn next door and have everything in the same place. So thats saving us a lot of money!

with honeymoon included we are around 60k maybe a little more. We are also having a brunch the next day, so i am estimating that price with the brunch

wow it really doesn't seem like that much until you add it all up.

for a Sunday night in October (approx 100 guest) all vendors included about 45k including the honeymoon.

When I first started planning I was saving for a house so I tried to stick with the cheapest vendors I could find. After I bought the house... I switched almost all my vendors. I didn't realize how much more I was actually spending

Low Budget Bride here.....Saturday 4:00, 125 people, Total cost soup to nuts........$7,000, and it's everything I could have ever wanted!

You should write a book. That is amazing. Congrats on that. Thank goodness FH does not read this because I told him that it wasn't possible to get for that price.

I honestly havent and dont want to add it all up!!! Even if I did add it up, things seem to get added almost every week!

I added mine up and it may not be alot to some of you girls but F#ck

right around $28,000
my parents gave me half and I did the rest yes 'I' did it so proud

it's so funny that you posted this today b/c i was thinking this morning that i need to figure out the total this is costing us...i haven't been keeping track of everything so i'm gonna try and figure it out now.

haha....ok just kidding....it actually wasn't as bad as i thought. total it'll be just under $30,000. still...a lot of money for one day! but well worth it.
