Oh, okay! Well, I found him on www.gigmasters.com. He has a website - www.smoothdjrus.com, but I think it's a work in progress and kinda ugly. But he has a great voice and is very professional. I don't know if he offers $350 anymore - I originally asked him for 5.5-6 hours and he quoted me $550. When I asked how much 4 hours would be, be said $350 - I was floored!
It's great because it's a professional DJ who knows both kinds of crowds - American and West Indian, and isn't some friend of my Dad's or some CD I'm playing.
He's coming to my house for a meeting next month.

People that I was really intrigued by were DJ Mack and Colorblind.

I highly recommend giving High Voltage a call.. They did my wedding and we had a blast.. Also his prices were really affordable and he worked within my budget... The thing that made me book was his true passion for what he does!

We have Wisdom Sounds. 1 DJ,1 MC 5 hours and we are also getting giveaways and fog, It came up to 1000.00 I got alot of good reviews from a coworker and her attendees whom I also work with

Wow that sounds good too. I really have to give High Voltage a call. maybe they can work w/ me considering my wedding is on a Tues. I really need to milk this Tues thing for all that it's worth!
The floor should be filled...you wont see the lights on the floor, no?

We're using In the Mix DJ's and are paying $2,000 (1 DJ, 1MC) includes the music for our reception, cocktail hour & ceremony. We also added the projection tv screen which will show pictures of all our guest (taken during the cocktail hour) at some point during the reception.

$1400 for DJ, MC, giveaways, lights, bubble machine and costumes for my guests to wear during the playing of certain songs.

$825....we are using Vinny from High Voltage also...he is doing the ceremony, CH and reception. Just DJ, no MC. Vinny does all the same things as an MC, but he just does it from behind the booth instead of on the dance floor with the crowd. Since we are only having @100 people...I didn't really want the MC. We are also having 1/2 crate of giveaways. Vinny was awesome!

i think we are paying $1845 for one dj, one mc, and some extra lighting through Body Rock..We are not doing the giveaways.

I am paying $650 for my DJ. He used to be the house DJ (might still be for Med. Manor) and my FSIL used him for her wedding and a couple of parties I went to and I loved him. I am picking up my own give-aways (my choice)and he is going to be the DJ/MC. I am only having 75-80 people so I wanted to do something a little less elaborate.

$995 for 2 DJ's for cocktail hour & reception i think he said he would throw in the lights. not sure what we are doing! LOL but we are using TOUCH OF CLASS DJ---Joe Bova. Recommended by North Ritz Club. He was nice, well-presented, clean cut but really fun & personable & I know he knows the NRC well and the price was right!

I'm soooo confused... we want the basic package, but then with the lighting package, and we may want jazz for cocktail, and this cool frank sinatra singer........ ughhhh... we're now talking $3500 or so.... am I crazy?
