Body Rock gave me a quote, and I'm wondering how they measure up?

$995 for 2 DJ's for cocktail hour & reception i think he said he would throw in the lights. not sure what we are doing! LOL but we are using TOUCH OF CLASS DJ---Joe Bova. Recommended by North Ritz Club. He was nice, well-presented, clean cut but really fun & personable & I know he knows the NRC well and the price was right!
Do they have a website? Sounds like a good deal.

Sunshine,
Did you see them last night at the CB expo?
I had already booked them, but caught their show & I couldn't be happier with my decision. They had me up in front of a roomful of strangers dancing...and that's NOT easy to do!!!
I'm getting 2 people, the mini-intelligent lighting package, giveaways & the cool Frank Sinatra singer. Total for reception & CH was $2,600.
Good luck with whoever you do choose!

I am using Jimmy Dee in Westchester and they threw in a bunch of stuff and I think it all came out to $1500. They have a really nice studio in White Plains! So far it has been really good working with them!

Re: How much money are you guys paying for DJ?
Hello everyone,
I am torn between using High Voltage Sounds or Fiesta....
Fiesta.... is too much money, but it is a company with a location. I just get very nervous...when, someone works from out of their house. I like to see the actual location. Music, is a very important factor to me.

You guys are getting alot. I am gonna have to have a little conversation with my DJ. If I were to add a plasma screened Tv it is going to cost me $850 I am already paying damn near 2000 and that is not with ceremony music. or anything special for the cocktail hour.

Re: How much money are you guys paying for DJ?
Spitzergirl...think of having a 'location' as overhead. Vinny from High Voltage can afford to charge lower prices because he doesn't have all the overhead of a studio...rent, utilities, phone, etc. If he had all these things...he would have to raise his prices to make a profit. This way, he can keep costs down and still do what he loves to do. He is very passionate about his work and I have heard nothing but good things about him. Since he is coming to your hall for the wedding...what difference does it make if he comes from his house or his office? You guests don't know and don't care! Just my $.02. Good luck.
