How much of a down payment did you give when you ordered your gown?

I'm ordering my dress tomorrow from teh Bridal Salon of Manhasset and wondering how much i am going to have to pay....

we had to put half down of the dress and alterations

every place is different. Mine required 50% of the original price... so more then half of the price I am paying

I put down 1/2. A girl at work got hers from the Bridal Salon of Manhasset and they told her if she paid in full she would get a % off.

I tried that too with Macy's - no go.

Half now, half at final fitting.

I guess i shouldnt really complain - they have free alterations for reem gowns

I bought mine at the Wedding Salon of Manhasset and I had to put down half the price of the gown.

davids was the full amount to order it.... but it was only $600

i also had to pay half on the dress, not the alterations.
