How much of a down payment did you give when you ordered your gown?

I'm ordering my dress tomorrow from teh Bridal Salon of Manhasset and wondering how much i am going to have to pay....

I got mine at macys and I think we out half plus alterations

I had to put half of the price of the gown.

They wanted half but I got off with just $500. But I've put down the rest of the half since (the dress is not in yet). You CAN haggle it if you want to.

I ordered mine from Valentina's Bridal in Brooklyn and left 1/2 of the total amount of my dress as a deposit.

I ordered my gown from the Wedding Salon of Manhasset and I had to put down half.

They usually ask for at least half when you order it and when you go for your first fitting you pay the balance. Good Luck!!!!!

we put $1500 down , i think we needed to put down half of the dress

1/2 but they wanted either cash or check and the other half has to be paid cash i guess when it comes in. ( I am not having the alterations done there)
