Someone from 'The Bridal Building'(?) called me and said I won a 3 day vacation - with no obligation - all I have to do is come in and see the store and then I can sign up for my free vacation. She gave me some location to pick from and some hotels.
WHY DO THEY HARRASS BRIDES! We don't have enough stuff to deal with!?!?!

I got a call last night from a wedding center telling me they got my name from a wedding website and that I won a vacation. I told her leave me alone I have enough going on and I dont need her to be scamming me and hung up

now what happens when you call the BBB and say that there is a scam? Do they think if I went to the shop, and they said 'no obligation', and then didn't give me this trip, that I wouldn't report it?????
UGH how come business don't try to be nice to the customer anymore? They just try to scam them!

Oh my God!! They called me too at about 7:30 tonight. I didn't even answer the phone because it was a 212 area code, but they left a message telling me I was picked from a random drawing and I won a free vacation. These people are annoying!!

I think they get our names from this site. it's the only place I posted my info. I was Bride of The Day for some DJ company. I won a $250 discount on their services. in my opinion - they probably aren't so great if they need to trick people into using their services When i told the woman I didn't consider this a prize - she got very upset and said that since I HAVe to get a DJ anyway, why not just use them? i told her I was getting a band and she said (in a snyde tone), 'WELL GOOD FOR YOU!' And then hung up

well, my FI and I went about 2 months ago to this bridal building thing. I let the guy talk and then I told him I wasnt ready to book anything until the hall was booked and he then tells me 'well, thats the good thing about us, you dont need a date' yeah, ok. Well, he finally gave me the voucher and tells us we had to let them know at least 3 months in advance when we were going to use it and that we had to send them a $50 deposit that we would get back at the hotel. Yeah, right! Needless to say, I got rid of the vouchers. I've learned my lesson.

Next time they call me,,,,I am going to be like really,,,,,3 other girls I know won the same things....you must do rally well to give away so many prizes.
