i'm looking at someone and i'm not sure if its a good price or not... it does include A LOT of stuff and to say i love this guys work is an understatement....

You are going to find a big difference in prices from different peopel.
You have to go with what you are comfortable with and want. I met with photographers that were as little as $3,000 and some that were over $12,000.
It all depends on you.

I'm using Nick's Photography. He runs the business out of his home so there's no huge overhead costs. We're paying $1200 w/o the album. We're going to make our own.

We are paying 5k.. that includes the entire day of photography however long it takes ( i know some just price it at 8 hours).. the digitial album..parents books... and a bunch of prints.... oh and that also includes the videographer! (almost forgot about him).. and we got free E-pics
