How much ribbon per favor?

How much ribbon per favor?

I'm going to get ribbon to attach the favor tags to the bags, but I'm not sure how much ribbon I should expect to use per bag. Is 6' a fair estimate?

It's a small bag - the tie will probably be as thick as my pinkie. But should I tie a ribbon or just a knot?

I think bows are cute but the length also depends on where the print is on the ribbon bc last time I did favors I came in under because I didn't take into account were the print was so order extra. 6inch should be enough

We're just doing plain ribbon, no personalization. I figure since we have the favor tags with our names and wedding date, I'm just going to use the plain one.
