FH and I are going to CA on Thurs for a wedding - we are both in the wedding party and they are in out wedding party....
Any ideas on how much we should give? With traveling and attire we are spending about $1500...

We have the same kinda situation with other weddings around the time of ours...We decided with the other couples to just call it EVEN!!
We figured whats the point of giving a gift to get it back a month or so later....Bring it up with your friend! We said we will just do cards...

im doing this w one of my OOT BMs since with travel, wedding presents seemed a bi overkill

I'd give $300 at least but if your wedding's are close enough to one another's, I would see if all of you can agree to not exchange gifts (it's going to wind up even anyways). I know my brother and 2 of his friends all got married within months of each other (all of them were in each other's WP) and they all agreed to just not give a gift.
