How much should you give the photographer/videographer for tip?
I feel like they would give you faster better service if you tip better.

I am as clueless as you but my photographer owns the company. Is is a family friend and he is the only photographer. Do I need to give a tip since he is the owner? I am paying him in cash at his request.

I'm curious to know, too.
Also, what did you tip the assitant? If you had 2 photographers, did each get the same tip?

IM also confused what to do. Our photogrpaher is the owner and the 2nd photogrpaher is his wife. Im not sure what to give each of them.

I was thinking of tipping $100 to each of my photographers and then $100 for the videographer and $50 for the videographer's assistant.

I thought as a general rule when someone is the owner of their business, you don't tip them. Maybe different rules apply for weddings...

I think that's a very good tip. Sounds good to me.

I gave 10% - but only because they showed up with FOUR photographers. I was planning on 200 - but wound up giving 500.

This is the general rule, but FH and i discussed this and decided we would feel more comfortable tipping them anyway- just cus we still deal with them before we get the final product.
