how much smaller

than your actual size sample were you girls able to get in to?

I know for a fact that the bridal shop I'm going tomorrow has a dress that I love in a size 24.

For that designer I'm a 22 on top, and right b/t 26 & 28 on the bottom. it's a corset so they can open it a lot

Do we think I'll be able to get myself in there?

i assume the dress is somewhat fitted through your butt and hips cuz otherwise the size on the bottom generally doesnt matter for a line gowns/ballgowns or for a dress with am empire waist that just flows straight

usually when its one size bigger or sometimes even 2, you can still see what itll look like on bottom and get it over your hips but itll be very tight but with other dresses, you dont want to pull to much or itll rip
(or youll be worried it will even though it actually wouldnt i dont think kwim)


plz, there were dresses that fit on my waist and back but my whole butt was practically out, lmao, it was comical after i got over it

i was lucky, and the dress i bought they had the sample in my exact size, but i know that doesnt happen often

I know in sizes 1 size smaller I tried on they were snug, for 2 sizes smaller I looked like a stuffed sausage, but I got in! So i think you;re good.

The sample I tried was 3 sizes smaller than my wedding dress, but I was still able to get it on. Just couldn't zipper it all the way to the top.

These places work wonders with clips and pins though, so even if it's small, you should still be able to get a sense of what the dress looks like.
