Honestly it depends on the reception hall your going to see, fh and I went to one it look 30 min tops, we went to others where we were there for an hour or so and then there's the rh we decided on - it was over an hour. Sorry I'm no help! But good luck!!!

I allotted an hour to each. But it varied by when we got there by how much we liked the venue. We went to one and were done in 15 min, because we were not really wowed and just kind of flew in and out. When we went to the place we booked, we were there for almost 2 hours at our first appt. But when we left, we knew it was the place for us.

Yep, half hour to an hour. And FH and I only did 2 in one day, max, so we wouldn't get overwhelmed and confuse some of the halls in our memory!

I agree, about an hour each, but it can vary.

We had one day where we had 3 appointments back to back and we scheduled them 1.5 hours apart to allow for travel time (my fiance and I live in the city so my parents visited venues for us and narrowed down the list so we didn't have to make as many trips out). Funny enough, the venue we picked was the last one we saw on that day, and I didn't love it (but my fiance did), but when we went back to do a tasting (we are having a kosher wedding and they have an in-house kosher caterer so we needed to taste the food before making up our minds) I fell totally in love.

It depended on the hall and the person taking you around... I'd say most places 30-45minutes.. then others would chew your ear off for over an hour.
