off from work before the wedding? I took three days (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) married on a Saturday, and was approved, but someone said that is a really long time. Your thoughts?

I took 2 - couldve prob went with only but decided on a mental health day lol. Its up to you what you need

I only took the day before the wedding off....i couldnt get anymore days off...really ****** I really need those extra days... I was a mess at work-even some of my coworkers were like i cant belive ur here

Before the wedding, I am taking thursday and friday. Thursday is our RD. I wasn't going to take off, but I have too much stuff to get done. Then I am off for 2 weeks after that! woo hoo

I didn't take any time off and I really didn't need to. I was almost bored the week of the wedding trying to think of things I needed to get done but I guess I had everything taken care of the week before. I did have some help from my mom who did a bit of the last minute running around for me since I wasn't able to get out of work and she was already on LI. It worked out well for me but everyone is different!

we got married on a thursdsay and only took wednesday off....everything was done the weekend prior so we didn't need time....plus we'd rather have the days added to our honeymoon!

I did same as you date twin........although I have off tuesday for veterans day because a postal/legal holiday.......so monday is my last day.!!! YIPEE I have roating days off so my schedule is
Tuesday- Holiday Off wed, thur Friday off Saturday are scheduled days off Leave for HM on the 17-22 & when come home monday is my day off. I got lucky!!
