Your ceremony and CH for pics and travel, and are you going to your CH? AND, if there is a big gap, are you providing refreshments for your guests at the ceremony site, the hall, or whatever? (if there's already a post about this can someone please bump it? thanks!)

Re: How much time are you having between
We figure there is about 2 hours between the ceremony and cocktail hour. We're going straight to our hall to take pictures, and I would like to be at out CH for at least the last 15 minutes of it.

Ceremony is for 1:30, should be over around 2, I want some pics at the church, but there is a 3:00 wedding, so at 2:30 we are on the road, 30 minute drive to the hall, ch starts at 4

Re: How much time are you having between
My ceremony starts at 2:00 PM and the CH starts at 5:00 PM. We will be in the church for about an hour and 15 minutes. The reception hall is about 15-20 minutes away depending on traffic. We are taking pictures at the hall. They just made this whole new gazebo across the street. I'm not having any refreshments in between. My hall said that if our guests arrive early they will serve them drinks until the CH actually starts!! That was a great surprise!!

My hall does that too! They pass around lemonade and iced tea for free, or I can run a tab on the bar. I personally will be using the free drinks..I am paying for 5 hours of an open bar they can wait the 20 mins!

Re: How much time are you having between
My ceremony is at 3pm and my reception starts at 7pm. I am having a full mass so we should be finished with church around 4pm, so that's about 3 hours for the receiving line outside church and to take pictures.
I am going to have a hospitality suite for guests that arrive early.

church at 5:00 - CH at 7:00 - We're only doing a ceremony and the pastor said 20-30 minutes. The Carltun is only 15 min away.
We do not have a big family and aren't going anywhere to take pics other than the church or the carltun.
